stephenhuerta	04/23/2026 Update: It’s exactly one week away for the Power To The People film screening in Guadalajara. Oh man, we’re so excited, we can’t wait. My Xochitl is a big John Lennon fan, so she’s ready. This concert happened in 1972, I started my first year in college in 1972. This film is close to my heart, it’s taking me back to my youth. I was still living at home with my parents, I didn’t move out until 1973. I don’t remember hearing much about this concert, but keep in mind, this show happened on the east coast, and I was on the west coast, and that’s probably why. And I wasn’t listening for it either. In 1972, my heart and ears were totally into Prog, that’s the main reason I didn’t hear about the concert. There was no internet in 1972. Now that I’m 72 years old, it’s time I checked out this special John and Yoko show, I’m over due.	John Lennon & Yoko Ono / Plastic Ono Band / Elephant’s Memory / Special Guests	Apr 24, 2026

michael wright	We hitch-hiked from Massachusetts to attend the scheduled Miami Pop Festival but were informed just north of Miami that it was canceled and relocated somewhere near Orlando. We headed back that way and found the site on Saturday afternoon, March 28TH. We were told that Johnny Winter had shown up on Friday night looking for someone to jam with and would return and perform on Saturday which he indeed did. Johnny played an incredible first set. He was followed by another incredible set by The Allman Brothers in full force. The third set was a jam with both bands creating an outstanding night of music. On Sunday evening Johnny Winter again performed an opening set. This was followed by a powerful set featuring Leslie West and Mountain. The night was topped off by a jam set with Mountain and Johnny Winter filled with awesome music. It was worth the trip	The Allman Brothers Band / Mountain / Johnny Winter	Apr 23, 2026
