È la prova vivente che non servono luci megagalattiche e lustrini per fare amare la propria musica. Sarebbe un sogno vederlo con Glen Hansard e con Marketa Irglova Una menzione speciale anche per il pubblico molto rispettoso, che per due ore ha chiuso i telefoni in tasca e si è lasciato trasportare in un altro mondo.  spanishjohnny72 Primo concerto di Roger Waters che ho visto nella mia vita. Dovendo definirlo con una parola, direi SCONVOLGENTE, nel bene e nel male. Partiamo dagli aspetti paradossali: un concerto che si presenta come anti-propaganda e a favore della libertà di pensiero, ti travolge con due ore e mezza di una propaganda talmente carica di antiatlantismo vegano (o veganesimo antiatlantista) da spingerti, all'uscita dal Forum, a cercare un posto dove, davanti a una bella fiorentina al sangue da otto etti, tu possa liberamente fare un panegirico della politica estera di Ronald Reagan e George Bush padre. Ora, io capisco il trauma della perdita del padre nello sbarco di Anzio, capisco pure l'abuso delle pastiglie di LSD dei primi anni settanta, ma criticare la Nato e tacere su Putin o Xi Jinping mi pare davvero una forzatura. Prova a fare a Mosca un concerto così e ti ritrovi sul fondo della Moscova, crivellato di colpi. Se non altro, ci ha risparmiato una tirata no-vax (perché mi sembra strano che non lo sia, essendo reazionario). Parlando di musica, che è l'aspetto più importante, benché la tecnica pacatezza di David Gilmour si adatti maggiormente al mio modo di intendere la musica, non si può certo negare che siamo di fronte a un genio assoluto, il vero motore della musica dei Pink Floyd. Anche e proprio per questo, l'eccessivo apparato scenografico mi è sembrato ridondante e superfluo. Una band del genere, a corredo di un artista superlativo, può benissimo suonare su un palco spoglio e lo ha dimostrato anche oggi. Direi che dopo il primo tempo all'insegna dei toni freddi post-atomici di stasera, nel quale avrei visto benissimo Welcome to the machine, l'intimismo di Damien Rice domani sera sarà una boccata d'aria fresca. Top three: 1) The Bar - Outside the Wall (per quanto detto sopra) 2) Have a Cigar 3) Two Suns in the Sunset Ho tolto In the Flesh, perché dava proprio l'idea di essere in playback. Voto 9.  T.K. Best Elle’s show (The Lucky Tour) was overall good. She premiered 4 songs that were new that she had been working on and I like the majority of them. Her show started at 8pm in ATL but she was late. The band didn’t start playing until 8:20 and they played for a solid 10 minutes before Zelle hit the stage.
