 Ric Kilmer This was Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" tour. It was held at UW's Hec Ed Pavilion. It was the one and only quadrophonic concert I ever attended (I think). The band specically placed a stack of PA speakers at all four corners of this otherwise basketball court. It was obviously quadrophonic when they played that cash register sound effect before "Money"--and the effect bounced all over the room, from corner to corner to corner.  Ric Kilmer I did NOT attend this show (I think my cousin Karen did, however), but I am uploading photos taken by Wally Funk--Publisher of the Whidbey Island newspaper. He was there.  Ric Kilmer This is the very first "rock" concert I ever attended. I went to it with my high scholl girlfriend, Cindy. We missed the bus home afterward and had to call her preacher father to come from Everett to Seattle to pick us up. Not certain of the exact date. Donavan played solo, sitting on a large carpet, playing acoustic. It was a full house as I remember, as he was at his peak about then. Donovan Dec 12, 2020

 Exnihiloman I was 16 when I saw this show. I went with a friend and it was GA so we high-tailed it to the field right in front of the stage, about 50 feet away. We were able to sit on the field until shortly before the show started due to the amount of people standing on the field. I enjoyed the show until I realized I had not one inch around me to move. At this moment I became afraid of being trampled if something should happen. The crowd didn't begin to thin out until after the encore, which was 'Money', and at that moment I felt relieved.  Ron Beck Was the only time I saw Pantera live. After the concert, Dimebag picked me out of everyone that was there and threw me 2 glasses of beer, but I didn't catch either because some guy slapped it out of my hand and the next beer Dime threw, landed short and the crowd got that one too. THEN. . . Dime told Vinnie to throw me a drum stick. I missed that too because my ride was leaving and I had to leave the concert. So I had to watch as the drum stick flew through the air and landed in the crowd behind me. I was so mad that I missed all 3 and now, even more pissed off that I never got to meet them after the show, or ever after. I am just glad that I was chosen by Dimebag Darrell in front of all of my friends that night. Now, I am still so crushed, that Dimebag was senselessly murdered and that a pathetic, deranged lunatic stole such an awesome person and that Vinnie had to go way too early.
