 Sthpc Ziggy played guitar... and I was there for the "Farewell Ziggy". moment. The whole concert was just out of this world....... you had to have been there. The film that was released years later of the concert is not too bad but even then it did not capture the " stardust" that David and the band sprinkled in air that night...  Sthpc This was a magical, spiritual concert that will live long in my memory and will always be my No 1 concert - through a magical set of circumstances, shortly before the concert was due to begin, I met a close personal friend of his who offered me a VIP pass to meet James Taylor backstage after the show. This, after all was the Hammersmith Odeon - the scene for the famous "Farewell Ziggy" concert that I was at on Tuesday the 3rd of July 1973 and I ended up backstage. My god... There of all places. Wow! What can I say. I was speechless. The angels were looking down on me for this concert. It really does not get any better than that if you were/are a fan of David Bowie and JT as I was/am, still to this day.. if anyone wants to know my story then by all means do get in touch with me.
