Alex Dougherty was born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania on February 3rd 1986. He began making up songs at an early age, the earliest he can remember is a song he used to sing at day care while on a swing. The song was about the feeling you get in your stomach when you close your eyes while swinging, and he even got other children to sing along with him.
