Dafydd Owain is a musician and composer from North Wales. Known for his work with bands such as Palenco and Omaloma, his first solo album Uwch Dros y Pysgod (Welsh for Up Above The Fish) was released in 2023 and nominated for both the Welsh Music Prize and the Albwm Cymraeg y Flwyddyn award. Owain's sophomore album, Ymarfer Byw (Practising Living) won Albwm Cymraeg y Flwyddyn for 2026.
