Primal Scream's 2005 Concert History

Primal Scream are a Scottish rock band formed in 1982 in Glasgow by Bobby Gillespie (vocals) and Jim Beattie (guitar). The current lineup consists of Gillespie, Andrew Innes (guitar) and Darrin Mooney (drums). The band initially performed live between 1982 and 1984, but their profile increased after Gillespie left his role as drummer of the Jesus and Mary Chain. Primal Scream were associated with the mid-1980s indie pop scene before incorporating psychedelic, garage rock, and dance music influences.
