Louisville’s emerging singer/songwriter, Ty redefines the new age of music, fusing various expressive styles with innovative beats. At age fourteen, Ty struggled to search for a new creative outlet. “Listening to music was just a way of letting go,” Ty explains, “You get a break from everything going on around you.” Inspired by his older brother, a novice musician, Ty decided to record his first song at his father’s house, mixing beats on his computer and using a microphone gifted to him years earlier.
