dsiracusano Bruno Mars was a crazy show. It was so loud with screaming tweens and teens sing at the top of their lungs you couldn’t hear Bruno. It was great for people watching red and black seaquin mini skirts with black boots or red satin PJ s was the nights uniform. It was just so hard to see and hear Bruno’s talent it was frustrating Bruno Mars / RAYE / DJ Pee .Wee / Natasha Bedingfield / Anderson .Paak Aug 27, 2026

Edward Dillon As Randall posted, it was a wild time. I had taken a few friends there, and we were there for the concert not the game. I actually got lost a few blocks from my house in Richardson Texas, however finally made it. Dropped everyone off. In the morning, one of my friends (Albert) did not make it inside. I found him sound asleep in the front yard that morning. Steppenwolf / Stevie Wonder Aug 26, 2026

E.Fud Jonathan Byrd and the pick up Cowboys were truly an extraordinary performance; so glad I got to see them twice at this Wintergrass. The real revelation, his bandmate in the Pick up Cowboys, who plays guitar, saw and mandolin by musical Renaissance man Johnny Waken. At one point, Johnny played the guitar simply by messing with the pegs and shifting tuning, it was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen, Johnny is an absolute master. To learn more about this group, see this article https://mmusicmag.com/m/2021/11/jonathan-byrd-the-pickup-cowboys/ “They are musical gunslingers, vaudevillian hucksters and old-fashioned tent revivalists. Between heartbreaking ballads and heart-lifting sing-alongs, the Cowboys entertain and get audiences involved in the show. Byrd is a preacher’s son, a Gulf War veteran, and an award-winning songwriter from Chapel Hill, N.C., known for literary, outsider songs that have become campfire favorites. In 2003, Byrd was among the winners of the New Folk competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival. He is best known for his narrative tales of love, life, and death in America. He recently covered Geoff Mack’s “I’ve Been Everywhere” (a song recorded by many including by Hank Snow, Lynn Anderson, Asleep at the Wheel and Johnny Cash). To get an idea of his sense of humor, watch his Covid-19 version. Jonathan Byrd paints a landscape with lyric and melody that reveals his truth—which finds a place in the listener’s heart, allowing it to simultaneously sigh and breathe. We talked with him about his songwriting and especially two of the powerful songs from their most recent album—with drums by Austin McCall and guitar, saw and mandolin by musical Renaissance man Johnny Waken—where they share often-missed, always poignant tales of small people who make the world such a big place.“ Bruce Molsky / Jonathan Byrd / Molsky's Mountain Drifters / Jonathan Byrd & the Pickup Cowboys Aug 26, 2026
