Vincent Neil Wharton (born February 8, 1961) is an American musician and singer. He is the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, which he fronted from its formation in 1981 until his departure in 1992. Neil reunited with the band in 1997 and remained with them until their retirement in 2015, and again from their reunion in 2018 onwards. As a solo artist, Neil has released three studio albums, the most recent being "Tattoos & Tequila" (2010).
